Jimmy’s story in Spanish published in language magazine

Jimmy Faria’s Homeunbound story was recently shared in his native language, Spanish. This translation was published in the summer 2025 edition of Foco, a magazine by Vereniging docenten Spaans in Nederland (VDSN), the association of Spanish teachers in the Netherlands.

Language learning isn’t just about grammar and vocabulary, it’s also about understanding how people think, interact, and express themselves within their cultural and social environments. By engaging with authentic narratives, we can learn meaningful expressions in context, gain cultural understanding, and develop a deeper, more natural connection to the language and the people who speak it.

We want to thank Foco magazine for choosing to publish this Homeunbound story, translated into Spanish by Carola Sardá, to be used for language teaching purposes.
