Homeunbound supports fundraising efforts for Spina Bifida Association
Spina Bifida is part of our everyday life.
When we moved to Pamplona last year, we joined ANPHEB (Asociación Navarra de Espina Bífida e Hidrocefalia), and from the very beginning, its members made us feel like we were joining a big, supportive family.
Although Spina Bifida is one of the most common permanently disabling birth defects, its prevalence doesn’t translate into sufficient visibility, resources, or funding. Living with this condition is complex, and small associations often work incredibly hard, without the spotlight, to support those affected.
ANPHEB is one of those organizations. Its work includes raising awareness, providing affordable physiotherapy and psychological services, and advocating for the rights and needs of people with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus. All of this requires dedication, time, and collective effort.
I was happy to contribute in my own small way by donating copies of Homeunbound for their fundraising efforts. And I’d like to encourage everyone to keep small associations like ANPHEB in mind, whether through volunteering, donating, or simply spreading the word. Their impact is real, and every bit of support helps.
